Cabinet-making workshop
“Set up a classroom in collaboration with visually impaired children”
— This workshop involved cabinet-making students from Georges Lamarque vocational school during one week and a half to design furniture that answers the needs of first grade students with visual impairments from the City School René Pellet.
The several steps of this workshop contributed to raise the awareness of visual impairment issues among the students and to initiate a structured creative process research from drawing up specifications to the prototyping of their proposal.
Workshop made in collaboration with the UNADEV Rhône-Alpes (Union Nationale des Aveugles et Déficients Visuels), the City Scholl René Pellet and the vocational school Georges Lamarque (wood and furniture) in Rilleux-la-Pape (France). —
